Be sure to fill out ALL fields on the verification page, including “Company”. If you aren’t part of a company or record label, use your personal name or artist name. This has to be filled out and "company" cannot be left blank.

If you distribute your music through CD Baby, DistroKid or TuneCore

Select CD Baby, DistroKid or TuneCore as your distributor (or ignore if your music is not distributed with one of these three). If you connect via your distributor, you do not need to worry about connecting social media links. You will get almost instant access after logging in with CD Baby, DistroKid or TuneCore and submitting this form.

If you don't distribute your music through CD Baby, DistroKid or TuneCore

The next step is very important. Click Facebook, Instagram and Twitter and sign in with them. This will expedite the process. If you don't have a Facebook, Instagram or Twitter, create one. It's well worth having an account on each of these sites with your artist name as this will allow for quicker verification for other sites in the future (and many in this course). It's ok to create a quick Instagram and just upload your album artwork. It helps you to get verified quicker by having one.

I had three declined requests for a new artist. After adding Facebook, Instagram and Twitter to a new Amazon Music for Artists request I received access within 3-5 days.

Lastly, claim your artist by clicking Submit. It's possible that you may not see the submit button because a keyboard is in the way (yep, this app is in BETA so be patient). Press and hold elsewhere on your phone/tablet screen away from the keyword until the keyboard disappears. Then you will see the submit button that was hiding behind your on-screen keyboard.
